Race Fuel
I have a 01 formula A4. Stock internals and 373's. My question is it ok to run 100 octane race fuel, with the stock compression? The fuel also is leaded. thanks! try not to roast me to bad, still kind of learning.

The O2 sensors might go bad faster due to the lead in the fuel. Also it may not be that much of an increase in power because of the lack of cyl pressure that is needed to utilize the extra octane. The fuel will still burn fine and be less prone to detonation but I doubt you will see any performance gains.

No problem. Honestly I wouldnt really waste the money on it UNLESS you were putting a N2O kit. Then you could reap the rewards of that fuel because you could run more timing on the kit and be less prone to detonation because of the higher octane rating of that fuel. But if youre not going that route then its my opinion that the money youre gonna spend in fuel could be better spent elsewhere to get that extra HP.
