Midwest Chassis does it AGAIN...Nitrous to F1X Blower Update!
As most remember, my combo used to be a multi stage NOS X275 legal combo. Midwest Chassis completely re-did the car in 2012 with a whole slew of updates including carbon fiber interior, weight reduction and a 25.3 NHRA spec cage. We were looking to go a faster in 2014, and about a year ago we made the decision to step into a Procharged Combo. I spent last summer and fall aquiring parts for the build, and once race season was finished we started the transformation.
I sold everything in the driveline except for the block, heads, valve train and drysump system. Everything else is new... We upgraded to a Winberg billet CCW crankshaft, new GRP rods, Diamond pistons, Bullet Cam, M&M Racing Engines Mozez cast intake, Berry Motorsports 3 piece 5" Elbow and a 123mm Wilson TB. We also started with a whole new BS3 EFI system, new electrical system from RaceWire Solutions, new ATI converter and a new Coan Big Dog Glide with a custom gear set.
As previously done, Eric @ Midwest Chassis took care of all the mounting, piping, and welding/fabrication of anything needed.
Here is last years combo for a reference...
And now the fab work....

Looks awesome!! Haven ppl had issues with that blower? Still going COP or going to a dizzy? All I know is that crankshaft is almost to beautiful to install, berry elbow is killer, mozez heads look awesome, hell the valve covers look badass. Your car is always been a favorite so clean and beautiful!!! Eric at MWC FTW

No need for a distributor....the BS3 "high output" coils will provide a hoter spark than the distributor stuff.
