Default 02 SS Camaro: T6 s484 Build

Figured I would make a thread in here. The old build was a Kentucky turbo pt7675, th400, s60, sbe ls1 w/ls6 cam, and e85. We went a best of 10.20 at 135 off the footbrake. The new build specifications are

LS1 block
346 ci.
10:1
Callies Compstar Crank/rods
Wiseco Pistons
TFS as cast 220
LJMS stage 3 cam,
ARP studded
Main girdle
Schuman Performance oil pump
ATI balancer
Meziere Electric waterpump

Trans:
th400 dominant performance
JW Bell
Circle D converter

Fuel:
ID 2000s
Walbro 255 intank
Magnafuel 4303 External
Holley Fuel rails

Suspension:
S60 with 3.54 spooled
Midwest chassis rear suspension
Afco DA rear, Strange SA front
BMR Turbo K-member

Chassis:
Midwest chassis 8 point
Kirkey Pro-street seats

Turbo:
Forced inductions/LJMS t6 S484 V2 race cover
Huron speed T6 kit
5 inch exhaust out the bumper
Boost leash controller w/Co2

So far, we have made 852 rwhp and 712 tq on 14 psi and 16 degrees of timing. We are headed back to the dyno here soon with the new controller. The plan is to turn it up a few more and get it close to 1k.

Going to post some cell phone pictures (all I have) here soon.

The old Huron speed kit wasn't designed for the bigger framed turbo.

Good pic of the upper support.

Had to modify the race cover to clear the frame.

How the engine bay finished up.

Had the gates hooked up wrong. 28 psi and ls6 intake isn't good.

The next step is getting a the New optic armor glass put in from Midwest Chassis. I need to finish up the parachute lever and the window net. After that, the car is ready to head back to Lethal Performance for some more tuning with the new boost controller.

Maybe I missed it, but how did you brace the turbo?

There is a brace from the drain to the top bolt of the alternator bracket. It still leaves room for the alternator to mount down low. I will move the alternator to down below sometime after this racing season.

Got a lot done this weekend. Car is ready for the new optic armor front glass and we will be able to start putting some miles on the car. Put in DA afco rear shocks with Midwest chassis mount, mounted the parachute handle, and added the 8 ball to the push/pull switch. Pictures will follow.
