17" Front Runner Radial
Not sure if this should go in the wheel and tire section or drag as it is my drag set up. Move if necessary.
Looks like there is still only 2 options for a 17" front skinny for a drag radial. (Let me know if there is any others I'm missing please)
Hoosier Pro Street Radial Tire Size: 26x7.50R-17LT
M&H Drag Radial Tire 185/55R17
Size wise the M&H is about an inch shorter. (if the Hoosier is actually 25.9") So my question is, is the M&H actually short than the Hoosier and if it is does it look like it doesn't fill the wheel well as well? And does it throw any codes?
I'm planning to run 275/50R15 Hoosier DR2 in the rear.
Thanks

I run the M&H Drag Radial Tire 185/55R17 and like it. It is no lightweight, but like you said not much choice in radial 17" skinnies. I also run the 275/50-15 rear. Not enough difference in size to affect any abs codes.https://ls1tech.com/forums/attachmen...r-dsc04742.jpg This is at stock height. Car is now about 2" lower.

A taller front tire actually has the ability to improve et as long as it is fairly comparable weight wise to a shorter tire. This is due to having more roll out before it starts the timers on the starting line. Basically gives you a "head start" on the drag strip.
