Default Just ordered new slicks

Finished of the ol' QTPs a few weeks ago...now that I have my 2 step figured might as well compliment it with new slicks.

28x10x15 Hoosier SLICKS (full blown slicks this time) with tubes and rim screws. All the parts should be here tomorrow ready for install Friday and off to the track I go <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Woohoo <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Fireball,

I see you are going to the track this weekend. Good luck. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

You will love the slicks. To me there is nothing finer than a LS1 on 28 Slicks. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

Let us know how the 2-step works for you. I will have mine in, in a couple of weeks. <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

Cool.

I just ordered some as well. Are the tubes necessary? I didn't use them with the 26's, do the 28's make a difference?

Never ran tubes in my 28" QTPs...I'm just trying them as I have been informed that it helps absorb some of the M6 shock on launch <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Fireball,

I was told that also but, I went without tubes. It sure would be neat to compare the two, and fine out if there was any difference.

10 bolt is sitting in the great dumpster in the sky <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

Big Mike...I got them installed (tubed and screwed <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" /> ) I'll try to snap some pics of the wheels tonight <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
