What should my times be
My setup is in the sig.Before Cam my best was 12.84 at 108 with 1.93 60',Car weight was 3820lbs.
After Cam my best is 12.85 at 110 with 2.01 60'.
Weather was less than perfect.Before times was near 45deg and low humidity.Cam times was around 85deg with high humidity.
These times are with stock tires,M6,and 3.42's.
What should my times be that I'm just lacking?Also what gain should I see when I install 12 bolt with 3.73's,Ram clutch and 315 DR's?
Thanks

60= 2.010-34.583-----------------0 to 30 mph=1.636
330= 5.513-68.297-----------------0 to 60 mph=4.517
660= 8.370-86.690 to 88.282-----0 to 80 mph=7.092
1000= 10.803-101.771---------------0 to 100 mph=10.447
1320= 12.850-110.167 to 108.180--0 to 120 mph=13.911
Ft ET MPH
-1 - .285 0.000 = Rollout ET @ 12 inches
0 .000 4.784 = Rollout MPH @ 12 inches
1 0.182 6.226
2 0.273 8.466
3 0.346 10.045
this might help you a little ??
but you need the
Barometric Pressure inches Hg
Dry Bulb Temp deg F
Relative Humidity %
for the both different days you ran your car with each different camshaft
with the 3 weather inputs , you can calculate
a Horsepower correction factor
and use this to determine real cam gains/losses

Re: What should my times be
If you had gotten the same 60ft as before the cam you would've run about a 12.70. If you had run in the same type of weather you would've been about .15 sec & 2 mph faster (real rough estimate). So that would put you at 12.5x @ 112.
With the 3.73's & drag radials you'd probably be in the low 1.80 60' range, so that would be about a 12.3x to 12.4x (assuming really good weather).
I'd reccomend taking some weight off the car if at all possible. Remember, 1 tenth & 1 mph per 100lbs.

Re: What should my times be
just some food for thought, but I have a freind in our club and he's running 12.5 on street tires, not drag radials. Its a 01 Hawk A4 with exhaust, lid and simple add ons(no stall).
he takes a few weight mods off the car to get those times also though so thats where you would be, then with a cam you could see 12.2's!!
its a piece of cake to take out the spare and back seat. The beauty of it is, it can go right back in after you leave the track and looks like new again
everyone has different goals, but ive seen alot of full interior guys start ripping stuff out cause ET's are harder to get once you reach a point do to weight
but then again we do have a guy running 10.5 in full street trim, cage, 12 bolt, and a tiny procharger so it can be done
