"Yes" my drag racing friend! "Yes"

This will help out tremdously. I practice a hundred lights every morning with my morning coffee and the watching of sports center!

IMO, get one.

I've been running my practice tree into the ground lately. It will DEFINITELY help you out on your RT's, no doubt, since it's all about practice. You just need to be completely comfortable in your car and while racing so that you don't get the jitters.

Hey Coach, What do you use for a rollout time. I have no clue what mine is, and mine should be pretty close to yours.

My rollout time is set at 32. Seems to be working quite well for me, I think.

Practice, practice. Like I said. I practice a 100 lights every day while I have my morning coffee and the watching of ESPN'S Sports Center.

Later,
Coach

PS. It looks like the rain is moving out. Time to go racin.

Or just go the track and practice at a real tree - well maybe a 100 times in the morning may be a little much

Practice is the key. After staging it is all mental. Pick your spot on the tree. Don't let anything interupt your thinking.

Practice trees are great but real practice is the only thing that will make you better. It will depend on your car set-up and its reaction also.

Navy David SS,

I couldn't agree more. That is way I have 36-passes on the Hot Rod in the last two weekends of racing.

100 lights in the morning. Come on, practice makes perfect. Well. .506 light in the final is not to bad.

Later,
Coach

You'll only think running your tree through 100 lights a day is a little much until you get treed. I'm doing the same thing now, and my lights are definitely getting more consistent. They're still not where I want them, but they're more consistent for sure. Sure, there's nothing like practicing at the track, but for me that's only important if I'm needing to get used to the car. If you've run the car enough, everything should be second nature, so the only thing left to work on are your RT's. I guarantee the practice tree helps because I NEVER would've made it through my first season of super pro without it! That was, and still is, a VERY cut-throat class. Coach and I watched guys lose today with perfect .500 RT's.

The practice tree is worth it's weight in gold if you have everything else down and just need to get competitive on the lights.
