Default First time using the TNT F-1 wet kit

I started out getting the car dyno'd before I went to the track, Here's the numbers: (104* temp)

NA unlocked: 360/359-AF 12.8
NA locked: 371/362-AF 13.0
100 shot N2O: 464.5/531-AF 10.7 (fat)

I also blew out the crank seal on the N2O run, luckily the shop carried the part.

At the track, My best N/A run that evening was a 12.23@111.3/60'1.75, (just did one N/A run) pretty hot out side. I decided to wait till 11:30 that evening to go for the N2O run after it cooled a bit. Man, it was like someone kicked me in the rear, what a rush. Anyway, my one and only N2O run (track closed at 12 mid)resulted in:

60' 1.73
1/8 7.24
1/8MPH 97.83
E.T. 11.22
MPH 124.5

I was pretty stoked considering I didn't hit the ARM switch till the 60' mark, what do you guys think?

Dan

Good numbers. If you come out on the bottle and get the 60' in the low 1.5s you will see some 10.80 or maybe even a 10.70.Back in the late 80s i had a Mustang that would run 11.40 all day long not spraying until the top of 1st gear and then i started spraying it right out of the hole and it would go 11.00s.you will be supprized at how much you will pick up.Good luck.

Thanks jleews6!

I agree with you. I was a little affraid (being my first time) of spraying out of the hole, thought I might brake something like the rear end, next time will be different. I need to bring that AF up a bit, maybe around 11.5-11.8 or so. Later, I will give the 150 pills a try as well..

Your MPH is similar to mine. I ran a 10.86@124.5 with a 1.60 60'. I did not spray out of the hole either. My posi was gone, my 60's are usually 1.52. My dyno HP was 480. So I figure I should be good for a 10.6 sooner or later. You should be able to get similar results, if you can hook & better if you spray out of the hole. Good luck.

Black Sunshine/ 00SS, thats an awesome time!
My 60' is normally a 1.74 with the 26" ET streets and stock 3.23 gearing. If I could cut a 1.5, I would be very happy. I'm hoping for a 10.8x @ 126 or better out of this 100 shot, hope it's possible.

Dan Like I mentioned to you earlier today.. You were flying.. Looking over the timeslip on that run with me, you went through the traps before I hit the 1000 foot mark. You were over a football field ahead of me!! Now you know why I go through so much N20.. I really wish I would have had a full bottle .. Can't wait to see that thing squeezing out of the hole, with the 150 shot and AF where it should be!!
