A lot of BS times in sigs these days?
I'll look at a sig and see something like 7.65@89mph, 1.64 60ft. (hypothetical 1/8th mile time)
Now I've run a best of 7.87@88mph, 1.598 60ft.
Can you tell me where the difference in ET is coming from? I figure if this guy ran the same mph or w/n 1mph and I had a better 60ft, yet he's .20 sec faster. WTF?
I realize cars will run differently for diff. weather and altitudes, etc..
Am I missing something or are some of these ET's in sigs full of sh*t?

You answered your own question, cars run differently under different conditions. M6's usually trap higher than A4's as well. Too many variables to narrow it down.

Different power bands...different gearing...different shifting....different a lot things.
Example...
My best pass is an 11.85 @ 112.8 mph w/1.68 60 ft. 1/8th mile was 7.54 @ 91.6.
A local friend/LS1 owner has an 01 A4 SS that has gone 11.87 @ 113.6 mph w/1.59 60 ft. 1/8th mile was 7.53@90.0 mph.
Figure that one out. Seriously...cars make their power in different places, shifting points may differ, lots and lots and lots of stuff can be different.

It's not the times that aren't believable, sometimes, it's how the time was achieved. Maybe a few minor mods/details are being left out. By mistake of course.

Re: A lot of BS times in sigs these days?
Hell one time on a hot day, with a poorly prepped track I ran a 119 at a staggering 12.79! My 60 ft time was so bad, I fear If anyone found out, I would be burned at the stack and my car turned into a giant flower planter. Burned the Nitto's through 3 gears.

Hey Black Sunshine, is the vig 3200 a good nitrous converter? I just sprayed my formula with a tnt 100 last monday and its stupid with the yank4400. It flashed to 5500 and shift extension is 5500. Way too loose so now I need a converter before I take it to the track. Thanks.

The vigilante 3200 is one of the better nitrous converters out there. If you lived close by i would swap you for yours Damn the luck i have
