New Best - Look out 9's Here I Come...
Cecil County Dragway. 91 Degrees, 56% RH. Damn hot! Super comp. guys were there so track prep was great.
Had the converter re-stalled. Still a little high at 6200 but the car seemed to like it.
60' 1.407 (what a rush!)
1/8 6.507
MPH 104.96
1/4 10.255
MPH 130.83
Both stock front seats and full exhaust. 3440 lbs. Once I remove the seats and exhaust and get some decent weather, I'm hoping for high 9's. Now all I need to do is get the race weight to 3000lbs...wee hee.
Fireball was there (no one else was brave enough to bear the heat) so he can comment on the 16" wheel stands...

The converter should be 5500 but it's too loose. I may just leave it that way for now. Shifting it at 6800 and rev limit is 7500. Cam is smaller than the one I used last year on the spray!
I might try my Yank TP4500 again just for kicks.

Awesome my friend! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
Cooler weather + a tighter converter + !400 lbs and you're going to be DEEEEEEEEP in the 9s! <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
Say, any chance you can make it to my MMRA event Labor Day weekend? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> www.MMRacers.com

Re: New Best - Look out 9's Here I Come...
Colonel, would love to but one trip that far south per year is all I can negotiate with the wife...lol.
Besides, I want to "tune" the car prior to the Thunder event.
Thanks everyone!

Maybe next year sometime. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> We're planning on making this a regular series with 4-5 events next year and a few more than that the next. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

You are just screamin with that setup.
Good luck in your quest for 9's. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: New Best - Look out 9's Here I Come...
Tony: Same TH-350 that was in the car before with a converter from a local shop (needs help). The only weight reductions that I did over the winter were lightweight carpet and rear bumper support. Leaaving the driver air bag and front one in there. I'm going to do the Strange brakes soon so I hope to be 3350 without exhaust and front seats.
