Default Not LS1 but took single turbo IROC to the track today

I know there are some people on here who were interested to see what my car would run.

<img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Got two runs today. The first one my hood popped loose but didnt come off. There was a single strip of "duct tape" on it since we havent got the front hood pins on yet. It came loose. I let off to a 12.20 @ 88mph.

Go up and make the second run and I come back to the pits and there is oil spewed out onto the engine. We have a vacuum leak at the front and back of the intake. So, it only limited me to 5 psi of boost

Here is the run down of that second run though

60': 1.67
1/8: 7.08 @ 100.3
1/4: 10.95 @ 126.49

I cant wait to see what this thing is going to do with 25psi of boost!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Nice setup, who manufactures that intercooler and what is its CFM rating?

I use to own an 86 IROC with nitrous, nothing like yours, but a nice car never the less.

When you get her all dialed she’s going to be FAST and get them hood pins, safety-first brother.

Glad to see you are getting the bugs worked out! Sounds very promising. Sorry I didn't get a chance to check out your car the other Wednesday at Muncie. I was racing 2 cars that night and had my hands full!

I'll definitely have to watch that thing make a few passes!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> That should be a sight when you get it all working. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
