Default Roll bar and Sub connectors

Do you still need the sub frame connectors on the car AFTER you install a weld in 6-point roll bar?

I am running a custom 6 point in my car and decided to not to install subframe connectors. I dont believe you will need them with a good bar and install. I am a vert and have some additional subframe over a hardtop though. Just my $.02

I highly recommend subframes with any rollbar or cage install. I tie my roll bars into the subframes so this adds more strength and rigidity to the car.

Thanks for the replies guys,Madman,I was looking to get rid of the weight (42lbs)from the car after the roll bar(chrome-moly) install. Before the install I scaled in at 3430 with me in it.I installed Bmr K-member,upper and lower A-arms,manual rack, light weight carpet, plastic seat and simpsom 5-point harness, and now scale at 3490#.Keep in mind this is a stock internal car(for now).Plan on heads and cam over the winter.

Better listen to Madman. Subframes are still a must. You need that frame to be tied in really good. Without the subframes I'd still think there would be a lot of flex.
