first heads/cam car in 9's
Has anyone done this yet?
I am gonna try this coming Sunday....IF weather holds out...DA should be real good. Last weekend the car ran several 10.3's with 150hp n2o. I plan on a couple of passes with 200hp jets. MAYBE it will go 9.9999999. I am not holding my breath because I know I have a long way to go but its worth a try. I know a few guys have sprayed 200hp and eventually had problems but I'll take that chance. I may even take pass. seat out and maybe even the whole catback exhaust.
any other ideas?
Shawn

Spray 250 and you'll get there <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Hopefully it stays together <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Cheers,
Chris

Ohhh you mean heads and cam and nitrous!
Not heads and cam. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
I think the horsepower store is the quickest heads/cam/nitrous car with an 10.01.

What car is it? the car on their site ran 10.15 and its a 6.0 liter. They have a heads/cam car faster than their 6.0 liter? or as fast?

Re: first heads/cam car in 9's
that makes me feel better...
So you think it will make it to 9's with 50hp more? Think I can beat the 10.16 on the board?
OR am I gonna BLOOOOOOOW?

chuck did run a 10.16, but he burned a piston on that pass. as of now, i still think hes the fastest 346 heads/cam/nitrous car out there. hps, and harlan have been faster in a 346, but chuck is doing it on the juice.

I saw Harlons 10.00 or whatever...what has HPS run in a 346"?
Was Chucks burned piston bad? was it a stock piston or a built bottom end. FYI: I'm still on stock bottom end and 4l60e.
Just wondering...

i think the hps car was a 346, or at least thats what it said in gm hi tech and on their website. dont see them post too much on here, so i dont know the details.

Re: first heads/cam car in 9's
I did read the article on the HPS car...the 10.15 was with stock bottom end....6.0 liter times coming soon.
Well maybe I can claim fastest 4l60e if I don't make 9's this weekend <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

I ran 10.06 with the 4L60-E. I don't know if anyone has beaten that.
Good luck! <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" />
