Default 396 ci" performance engine for sale

If someone buys now I can have the new motor ready for March. Otherwise I'll have to run in the 11.0 dial in. I can't run 10.0 with this setup. =/

Besides the cam, why do you say this is not an N2O motor? Rings?

I kinda wondered the same thing? Its all forged and should take a 200 shot if the fuel system is setup properly.A N20 piston isnt really needed until a 300 shot?Your setup should run 10.40s.So w/a 200 shot would drop u a sec for sure. How come your not gonna try it?Have u gotten any clean 1/4 passes out of this setup?

They are extremely lightweight pistons...not meant for nitrous. Maybe Terry doesn't want to grenade a motor that doesn't have a warranty?

Hey Terry, what are your thoughts on the cam swap? Was it worth it or would you have stuck with a more mild cam? Why don't you think it picked up much over the 229?

Thanks

First the light weight pistons, then the ring selection, then the pins were moved up in the pistons for longer rods, then the offset grind crank, then the std sleves (vs. the Dartons and other juice sleves). It's a great NA motor but I'm afraid to even run a 75 shot on it.

Are you interested in a 388? I had Mike set mine up for moderate nitrous use. It has the Darton sleeves. I'll send you an email with my cell #. Call me...maybe we can work something out.

Yea,A LW piston is not for spray but IMO under a 200 shot would be fine.

I dont blame Terry though,no warranty = sell engine and build a N20 engine.

For my next motor (or next cam if I keep this motor) I'm staying with the 229v2.1. Not sure why, but I can only conclude the cam is not a restriction for me.
