Default TA pulling the wheels in second gear

did anyone see the TA at SLP day pull the wheels in second gear then lose it half track? I have seen mustangs pull the wheels in second before but NEVER seen an F-body do it.

on a side note the car had 3 Nitrous kits on it a TNT direct port, NX Gemini Twin, and NOS dry kit plumbed into the airbox. I guess he decided to see which kit really is the best

I've done that before on my 27in. hoosier QTP's. They would spin all though 1st slam into 2nd and get a little air, swapped out the 4.56's to 4.10's and 28in goodyear eagle's and it stopped.

I dont have no real proof just a few witnesses at the track. Definatly a weird felling the first time it happened.

Thats one bad *** car BUT in my opinion the driver is the real deal. To be able to save a near collision with the wall like that is pure INSTINCTIVE TALENT!

Cliff is an awesome driver and a pretty kick *** guy to talk to to boot. I about freaked when he skid outta control. Was talking to him in the pits and he said he was gonna hafta go change his underwear after that one He was running a 100 shot and running on ET streets, not slicks, lol. Can't imagine that car with an auto w/ stall, slicks and skinnies up front

My old '93 Z28 used to get about 1-2" on the 1->2 shift. It was a simple 355/175 shot combo, 3.89, M6.

That was an AMAZING event to watch!!!!!! I wish I would have gotten a pic of him pulling the tires in second. I managed to snap a couple of him getting swirly on the big end though.

Did he ever try to race again that day?
