Pics of my car after 6 point rollbar install etc...
Here are the pics:
http://www.insomniacsoundtrack.com/car.htm
Car is pretty dirty from driving in this winter crap hehe...
I took the pics as soon as I got home from picking up the car. I'll post more pics with the car cleaned, full interior and rollbar painted. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
I got my CMP code fixed (Cam position Sensor) and man what a difference. Even with cats on I notice a BIG improvement in power. (Which is AWESOME considering my cats cost me 17RWHP on the dyno)
There was a broken wire in the harness that Fern at ARE found and fixed. No more hard start problems, car idles better and I notice more power throughout the rpm band.
Can't wait to throw on my ORY again <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
Have a look and tell me what you think. The welds on the rollbar are excellent (Thanks to Eddy Bryck at the Chassis Shop) and the work done by the guys at ARE is top notch.
Cheers,
Chris

Its a completely custom made chromeoly rollbar by Eddy at "The Chassis Shop" He has been doing chassis work on racecars for a long time. Does great work!

I didnt bother with swingouts. By the time you open the swingout you can already be in the car LOL.

Re: Pics of my car after 6 point rollbar install etc...
Probably 100 pounds total.
I had a hawker battery up front before (28 pounds lighter than stock)
Now I have my stock battery in the back, battery box, heavy gauge wire, junction box, kill switch etc. Plus the DSloop, studs, six point.
The bar is a six point chromeoly and probably weighs about 65 pounds. I might put in a lighter battery in the trunk later. I dont think the battery weight increase will hurt too much at the track though where it is right in the back of the car over the rear tires. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Time will tell. I wouldnt be surprised if I slow down about a tenth but I think I'll make it back up with better traction and a little more power...
