MTI S2 Heads/X1 Cam, Nitrous TRACK results!!
I have the results:
Mods: MTI S2 LS1 Heads/X1 Cam, Mac Mids, Nitrous Tuning, 100 shot of NITROUS WORKS, 3000 Vig, and ET Streets: MTI Dyno on Motor: 393 RWHP and 375 RWTQ, on 100 shot 486 RWHP and 419 RWTQ<---COLD BOTTLE
The last time I went to the track before the H/C I ran a 12.7@108. Yesterday We let it cool down and ran it, Results a 12.3@111 with a 1.77 60 ft. 2nd Run: 12.32@111 again..My car in OVERDDROVE was banging the crap out of the limiter on the 1-2 shift. My 60 fts are worst then when I didnt have h/c, so the track might not have been all that great either..
Well, I was for a while my friends told me "Just spray 100 shot on her and see what happens." I didnt want to b/c I was hitting the limiter, but I said oh well JUST 100 shot...Results: 11.4@121 MPH! I was so bc before the h/c and tuning, with 150 shot my car would only gain 7 tenths. So with 100 shot I gained almost a second, and I banged the limiter badly.
So I put her in line again b/c I almost hit the guard rail and let of on teh 11.4. So I launched, hooked OK RESULTS: 11.069@121 I was so SUPRISED! Thats bc I HIT the Limiter BADLY and I would let off so it wouldnt be to badly. I know I couldve gone high 10's with a 100 shot but they wouldnt let me run anymore..I plan to put a roll cage in the car and spray 150 shot and call me crazy, but I think I can pull of a 10.4-10.5 with 150 shot.
Note: I ran the 11.0 hitting the limiter and letting off the gas on and off...on 100 shot..
I told Jayson to tune the car for Nitrous..AND thats exactly what I think he did! Im suprised..ON MOTOR: I think I can squeeze a 12.0 bc my 60 were .1 slower than usual..
Overall: I wish that MTI would have just tested the car and known I was hitting the 1-2 shift. There were like 3 MTI cars hitting the limiter on the 1-2 shift it gets to u!
BTW: My car has no Weight Reduction, Power everything, and T-Tops. On Dyno with a 100 shot only dynoed 419 RWTQ, so dyno numbers dont mean anything..

for future reference its not very safe to hit the limiter while spraying.
but congrats! Your car should be in the low 11's on motor and low-mid 10's on a 150 shot once you get your limiter and shift straight <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Great times. I couldn`t get mine to hook on the nitto`s. I just got me some E/T 26-11.5/15 on 15x10`s. Should help with my problems! I think you have better power numbers than that. Good Luck!

BeardWS6, you really think I can have better dyno numbers? Me too. Im really tempted to put 150 shot on the car but I want to hit 10's with a 100 shot..With the limiter fixed, and Skinnies in teh front Im POSITVE I can go 10.80's on 100 Shot only <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Give me some time to get the roll cage and install it with skinnies and I promise Ill go 10's

Coach, Leo, BeardWS6, etc, thanks for all the nice compliments..The car runs like a beast on Spray with a CHEAP Nitrous Works Kit <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> Ill be going to 11's on motor real soon too!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

BTW: I turned the Nitrous off before the limiter so I really wasnt hitting it on Nitrous <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> It worked too...

Are you going to Spring Break Shootout? If so I will see you there. I plan on going for sure. I took vacation. Car is at MTI getting cage and line-lock put in. I will grind the calipers Sat for the 15x10`s. Traction!!!!!

Beard WS6, Sorry cant make it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> But I really hope you get better times than me with 100 shot, I feel u can go tens with that RWHP/TQ. Where did u get your cage and for how much $$ if u dont mind me asking! Thanks

I have the MTI S2 ,3.42gear,SY4000 conv,and tuning and my car was slamming the rev limit on 1-2 shift. The stock tranny was slipping bad.I had it rebuilt and my times went from 11.56 to 11.25 best.This was done in June and now this past Friday my O/D & drive went out,so it's back too the tranny shop. <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[punch]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_punch.gif" />
