Well, I finally did it : I pushed the landyacht into the 12's !
Many many thanks to MicahOwnSS for letting me borrow his ET Streets for a few passes ! Thanks for hooking a bro up Micah ! Also big thanks to Mark@AAP for running me to two different auto parts stores at the last minute looking for 12mmx1.5 long sheath lugnuts since I bought the wrong ones.
So here's the scoop ! First time ever on ET Streets. Kinda drifty once you get towards the end of the track but awesome traction. I couldn't spin at all - I even bogged, which is night and day over street tires. Tried the first burnout with the ASR on, lol, worked much better with it off. When I got to the end of the track after the first pass my throttle was stuck WOT ! After slowing down and finally stopping it was banging the limiter. I shut it down and popped the hood - there was one of the little blue anodized bolt caps under the throttle mechanism ! After removing it all was well. Whew ! They will be getting removed on race day from now on.
Here's the numbers :
Pass #1 - redlighted, was getting ancy, didn't stall the verter and was caught kind of off guard with the light)
RT : .461 (foul)
60' : 1.924
330' : 5.353
1/8 ET : 8.182
1/8 MPH : 86.28
1/4 ET : 12.684
1/4 MPH : 109.93
Pass #2 went much more smoothly and was my best pass. I stalled the converter up to about 2k at launch.
RT : .535
60' : 1.857 (new best)
330' : 5.278
1/8 ET : 8.100
1/8 MPH : 86.58
1/4 ET : 12.604
1/4 MPH : 109.92
They ran out of ticket paper so pass #3 was a handwritten slip, but it wasn't worth mentioning anyway. I tried to stall the converter up higher and wound up going through the lights, redlighting, stopping, starting again, and still running 13.2@109, haha.
Overall GREAT day for me as I finally got my first 12 sec timeslips. I want to get the car weighed, I'm sure it's close to 4000 with driver, heh.
Great to see everyone there, and there may be pics and video of the passes coming soon. My car looked pretty funny with big ol' meaty tires on it !
Opinions welcome, I know the car has more in it if I can get the launch down and the tire setup dialed in.

Oops ! Added my sig to the post above.
Basically ported TB, LS1 intake, stock MAF, Macs with CarSound cats, AAP Stage II heads, 222/224 114 cam, Y3000/3.73. ...in a full weight A4 convertible with rollcage, subframes... no weight reduction. It's a pig - I'm guessing 4000 or so with driver. I'm going to try to get it weighed this week to know for sure. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Weighed the car on the way home today, 3640 without driver. Doesn't explain the ET... Maybe fuel pump isn't up to snuff, but it held its own on the dyno...
Any thoughts ?

Congrats. I feel your pain. My 94ZRagtop A4 is a sled, even with, err, everything (stock bottom end, everything else is modified), she runs 13.2's at 106. New cam goes in on Friday, tho, still hunting for the ever-elusive 12.9x timeslip. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
12.6's at 109 is bookin' for a sled. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Thanks fellas. I'm not down on the car, it feels like it's hauling butt and I'm happy - just wondering how to get the times down even more.
I have a new Walbro 340 going in a week from Friday and I'm betting that solves part of the mystery. I have a stumble at startup that goes away if I "prime" the fuel pump 3 or 4 times by turning the key off/on/off/on. When the stumble happens the FP gauge goes wacky too, shoots all over the place and drops as much as 5-8psi. I'll do some more testing with the gauge.
The stocker's been whining a lot lately too, doesn't sound healthy...
Hope that does the trick, but even if it doesn't I'm pretty happy so far. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
