Default 1st night at the track with the 325 50 15 MT drag radial

Only got 4 runs in (N/A) at Etown, tried them at 20, 15 and 12 psi. They actually hooked at 20 launching off idle. After bringing the revs up I had to go to 15 and then 12 as it got colder. Best 60 ft was only 1.61 but It's a nitrous motor with 3:42 gears.
Best ET last night was 11.25 @121mph. with a 1.71 60 ft, had a little brain hiccup with the trans brake on that one.
Car weighed 3500 lbs with me in it .
Better days to come.

Mark,

Those big tires, 3.42's, I would also venture to say a nitrous converter and a nitrous tune. 11.21 at 121 is a good time. Off nitrous with the old motor, with basically the same situation as you (a tight converter, nitrous tune, big tire, 3.73) I ran 11.2x's at 122 too. You are right where you should be off the bottle.

Now do what the motor was intended to do.... Breathe LOTS of nitrous!

Thumbs up

Not bad numbers at all Mark, especially considering that it was really the current combo's first real passes.

Thanks guys. At Atco with ET drags the car went 11.05 @122 on motor.
Mike, I'm gonna get those nitrous passes in but I've got a couple more safety items that I have to get first. Having a little girl at home has made me soft, lol.
I did spray it once and it broke the driveshaft in 2. Actually........ Dave boke it.

I still can't believe that you guys still had a stock driveshaft in there with all that power in front of it.
