Default What size fronts are you running?

I'm looking for a size that will fill up the front wheel well nicely. My current fronts are too small. Will 26" work or should I go to 28"?

Post pics if you have them!

i think a 26" will do you fine. save the 28's for when you get a 30"+ rear tire so it maintains the proper rake. otherwise, it looks terrible with the same size tire and i think a 28 may be pushing it anyway for the front. at most, i'd do a 27. do a search in the in the for sale section. there's a guy who i passed on who has a set of new 27's for sale. it's been in there for about a month, but they were for sale still last time i checked.

26" here. I ran 27" fronts and they rubbed like crazy when I hit the brakes. Actually they removed my inner fender wells for me

28" fronts will make the car look like an offroad pickup.

LOL I agree. I have 165R15 VW radials right now and I measured them last night. They were just under 25". So 26" should be perfect. 28" would be WAY TOO BIG. I think I'll go with the 26" MT ET Fronts.

NavyDavid, did you have 26" fronts in that pic in your sig?

Pewter, yep. 26" ET fronts and 30x9 Goodyears in back. This will have an different look - but still 26" ET Fronts but with 30x10.5 Hoosiers on Bogarts - we'll be able to fit the tire inside the fender well.

Picture of new set up is at the attachment

Nice! Thanks for the pic. Looks like Convo Pros on the front. The 26" tires fill the wheel well nicely.
