Default Wolfe bolt-in opinions

Who's running a bolt in wolfe 6 point? I picked one up today for a KILLER deal and i figured id get some feedback before i start tearing the interior out.

How's the fit?

Any little tips/tricks to the install, anything i gotta watch out for?

lastly, the bar isnt a swing out model so the passenger side door bar isnt exactly easily removable. should i bother to use it? are there any downsides to only running it as a 5-point?

thanks for the input.

mine fit actually really well. pull the carpet back and drill all your holes. then just cut an x in the carpet where it bolts down under the plate and slip the carpet through the plate, bolt it down, then trim the carpet around the tubes.i had mine powder coated after i had it in the car for a year, just too make shure it fit well and i was happy with it, GOOD LUCK!!

I have the Wolfe bolt-in 5 point. I think you'll be okay running it as a 5 point. The fit and finish was outstanding. I am extremely pleased with it. Just be sure to follow the directions and drill a pilot hole prior to drilling the 3/8" hole. Makes it a lot easier.

Fitment is excellent. Just remember to assemble the whole cage in the interior before you start drilling any holes. I would just use it as a 6 pt, especially if you have t tops, the side bars are pretty low and easy to get in and out of the car. You'll have to remove the plastic surround on the gas cap to feed the nuts on the drivers side. Oh, and say goodbye to your rear speakers if you have them.
Good luck.

Is the rear bars fender mount or over the seat mount? Big difference in the install.

I went to a parts store that sells body shop supplies and bought a tube of seam sealer. it applies like caulking. it help give the plates a flat suface and keeps the water from getting trapped on the bottom. I applied it inside and out. that was a year ago. I have the wolfe 5pt with swing outs. fit and finnish was great
