Default Best hood that fits, is strong, and very light?

Starting to think again about a lightweight hood, and I know I've heard of at least 3 places to get a good one. BUt I've also heard mixed results sometimes, on the fit of the hood. I don't want to say price is no object, but I don't mind spending an extra $100 to get a noticeable difference in quality.

So who's got the best 15lb (or so) hood that's going to fit without a lot of work and that's strong enough to hold up?

Bolt on or pin on John? I personally have noticed that VFN and ASCD make some of the best hoods out there. Everything else seems to be hit and miss.

Either one. I figure a really light one will probably have to be a pin on. Allthough I wouldn't mind being able to still use the stock hinges for the 2 rear corners, and pins for the 2 front corners. That way I don't have to lay the hood off somewhere (like on asphalt in a parking lot) and have it get scratched up.

My VFN bolt on is 21 LBS. Very good fit. Carbon Fibre bolt on would be in the 15 lb range.

VFN "flat stock" pin on = 11lbs or Carbon = 8ish glass hoods like this are about $260ish and Carbon is double the cost.
