My car originally had a Steel D/S, I got a Aluminum D/S from the junkyard, Replaced the U-joints & removed the balancer. Had the the hole D/S balance. I dropped 9lbs. That's rotating weight. How much did it help? Not sure, but it adds up. My best SI time was 8.0 in the 1/8mile.

Yeah once part of the ujoint hits the floorboard, thats when the fun starts.
Good thing for AAA. Upgraded to IE alum driveshaft after that.
