Im looking for a light weight battery to go with but i dont even know where to start looking. I did a search and came up with the oddessy.
Maybe you guys can tell me if I can even consider one with my electronics on the car. i have a remote bottle opener, bottle heater, and the regular stock stuff. I saw something on a dyna battery, where can i find one? thanks in advance guys!

as long as you dont have the accessories on while just sitting there, you will be fine.

You should be ok, only problem is when something that draws on the battery whiles its sitting ! Just dont run your bottle heater or opener while the car isnt running !

I just ordered the PC680 with the auto terminals from gotbatteries.com. Got it in 2 days and it's on the car with no problems.

The posted link looks like it comes with all you need.
I have mounted them differently in different cars. they can be layed down on the side or sitting up like normal.
I go to Lowe's and get a aluminum strip and make a hold down for it, real simple, just have to bend it here and there.

I do not have any pix, I got a used Dynabatt for my 97 and it didnt work, or lets say it was inconsistant, charged it and then it would start the car, but get to the track and it would not turn over, charged it and jumped it off and all was fine and get to the staging lanes and it would not start again. I found a buddy and got his battery and loaded the car up, that night sucked!

A new one will start the car just fine, just dont leave anything on when the car is not running.

appreciate it. hopefully one last question. do you have to charge it when it comes in? or can it be thrown in right away? just want to get some ?'s out of the way before i go with it. do you have any regrets? and is there any way you can get some pics so i have a idea how to mount?
