Default Anyone run Aerospace brakes with Prostars?

I am looking to throw aerospace brakes on the front and back of my Camaro. I have the stockers ground to **** now, and want to go to something lighter but streetable. Let me know what you guys think.

The fronts clear fine with no spacers. I don't have them in the rear but I imagine that they should clear like the front. I don't have alot of miles on mine (maybe 500 or so) but the race kit seems to work pretty well on the street.

I have the rear set and 16 inch XP pro-stars. There is much more clearance with these than there was with stock set. I image it would be ok, but can't say for sure on the rear as I never had a problem.

Mine where 30-32lbs lighter in the front alone. At 3,900lbs, you'd probrably want to look at the Aerospace street kit. Suposedly they are not much heavier than the race kit.

Thanks guys. I think I am going to go with the race set even though I drive it on the street often.

I have both front and rear kits on my Formula and I have a Strange manual master cylinder, it kinda take some getting used to. I think they are well worth the money.

How is your braking power compared to stock? I want to still be able to drive the car on the street without having to worry about the brakes.

I went with the Strange master cylinder for a couple reasons.

Less weight and cleans up the engine bay
Bigger bore to push more fluid (cuz ur going from a total of 4 pistons to 16 front/rear)
Im only making 10" of vaccum and Im pretty sure you need 16" of vaccum to run power brakes properly

Other than a little more pedal effort I love em.

Both my cars are for the street, I personally am not worried about my brakes.
