go to the track and try it yourself, what works for every other person/car in here isn't gonna help you much.

its generally the same though. with the 2.66 first gear, you want it wound out as high as you can get off the line without spinning. if your not spinning your bogging with that 1st gear

Will my Built 10 bolt hold up launching at 6000 RPMs with 4.10 gears?? And should I spray off the line? a 150 shot??

your built 10 bolt is worthless. if you are trying to launch with a 150 shot, you mine as well stick a grenade in teh center section and pull the pin... that's esentially what's gonna happen when you drop the clutch at a high enough rpm to get teh car out of the hole. Oh, your driveshaft and clutch, they are about to get destroyed too.

First thing's first. Get yourself a 12 bolt at a minimum, preferrably a 9 inch. A steel driveshaft would be a smart idea, and I don't know what clutch you are using, but anythign less then a ram VDS, spec5, somethign of that level is not gonna work for long. Then get ready for the car to get twisted if the frame's not tied up good... and if you're spraying a 150 shot on slicks, you probably need a cage too.

As for rpm... launch off the limiter if you want the best times possible, and tune suspension to make it work.

With 3.42/10b we launched it at 5500 on slicks, did well.
Then moved to 4.11s and 6000 dumps on slicks.
now we have 4.33s and dump it above 6k, works well!

More power to you if it stays together.... you're probably one of the only ones. I have seen epopel send parts thru the rear cover on the street with near stock power... after seeing that, I never even entertained the thought of putting a cent of $ into that rear, junk teh whole thign and buy one that's worth while.. at least if a 12 bolt or 9 inch breaks, it's worth fixing it.. because there's lots of better parts to go with then the average one that moser or strange sells as a complete unit. A 10bolt is just that, a 10 bolt. Good for a s10 pickup.. anything lese, it's inadequate on a good day.
