Is it better to race with traction on or off or is their a difference?

Definately off, traction control kicks in as soon as any wheel spin is detected,and pushes up on your gas peddle that you are trying to smash to the floor . To find out just try and do a burnout with it on !

Just take it out! Racing with it on is an uphill battle!

Definitely off! As you know it, the TCS automatically turns back on each time you start the car. You can buy a harness from SLP (site sponsor ) that leaves the TCS off all the time until you're ready to turn it back on.

Or you can just pull the fuse for free... And put it back in when you want it...

one time i left my traction control on and ran a better time.....bald tires and not much practice, it actually helped me get out the whole. would kill my times now.

I used to forget to turn it off all of the time, and I got so fed up that I just ripped the whole system out and got a non TC, non cruise control throttle cable!
