Thanks for the kind words. I got the idea to narrow the rear from Gator. He my inspiration to be fast....LOL

Like he said after the Glide goes in I am going to hit it with a much bigger shot and looking for high nines.

Stock Wheel wells. I havent rolled the fenders but I have cut out the bump stop and pounded the inner fender wells a bit. I used to have 18x10.5 ZO6 wheels on the car. The 315 looked bad *** but goals change

http://www.revxtreme.com/features/im...aveg_4_lrg.jpg

Thats the only other pic I have that kinda shows the tires and how far they stick out. I'll see if I have anything else. They actually match the fronts exactly on how far they stick out. Its about the same as the stock set up I had before.

So how much are they out at the top of the wheelwell? about 1/2"-1"?

so those are just regular 15X10's becasue the backs look deep, like a big time deep dish.or do you get that look because of the narrowd rear.might have been a dumb ?.
i love that look.

On a stock rear the bs on a 15x10 is 7.5. Since I narrowed teh rear 2.5 inches on each side I went with a 4.5 bs so I have three inches more lip than normal. with a spacer the wheel actually tucks about a 1/4 in more than stock.

teh pictures make the wheel/tire look liek it sticks out. at the top of the fender it doesnt stick out any farther than OEM. what also helps is the lt1 brakes. it sucks the wheel in just a hair.

here is the math in my head:

rear narrowed 2.5" (so thats -2.5 inward)

wheel has 3" more lip which stick the wheel out +3" (so thats a total of +0.5" over OEM at this point)

then he has the LT1 brakes which sucks the wheel in about a -.25 to -.5" (so we are even with OEM)

spacer is like 1/4" - so um, yea. there you go.

it doesnt stick out.
