Switched to MT dr
i hope this is not a duplicate thread i looked and did not find the answer i was looking for. I have been running my ta on some bald, and i mean really really bald street tires and the best pass i had was 8.6930 at 87.33 with a 2.2169 60'. i just put on some 275/40/17 MT dr and i was wonding how much time you guys droped after switching from street tires. I have problems with spining all the way down the track. Oh i am also shooting 100 dry to the car. So every time it sprays and i shift i spin the tires. just trying to get some thing to shoot for this friday when i go to the eight mile. don't have a quarter any were close. any input would be great and i already know that my car is slow and should be running alot faster!!

I got low 1.7s but is good for high 1.60s with a little more launch . You are going to have to leave pretty hard to get it down there with the 3.42s . Good luck with the stock rear in mine is still holding strong after about 40 passes .

yeah this weekend is going to be just taking it easy and getting used to the new tires. but if i do break the rear my bubby has a set of 4.10 at his house just in case. don't want to use them cause gas is so damn expensive as is.
