Default Anyone Fab up a Sheet Metal Dash in a 4th Gen??

If this thread should be moved to appearence, please move it.

Ive been kicking around the idea of making a sheetmetal dash for my car for some time now, now i have access to the required tools and expertise so i may give it a try along with a new console. Any of you guys made one Before or have any pics of dash in a 4th gen??? I need all the info I can get.

I know its not metal,but here is my vfn fiberglass one I recently installed. It's about as light as you can get and I think it looks decent. Just another option for ya

Machine screws on the top and for the bottom I hacked up the stock mounts and made brackets.They don't come with any type of mounts,you just have to make them yourself.

i looked on VFN's site and didn't see that dash, i might have missed it, or might just be retarted, about what does one of those cost?

1.5 pounds thats really light you can throw it at someone and they wont even know you just threw a dash at them.

Well, I dropped the stock dash on my head when I took it out and I can tell you first hand that it doesn't weigh that much. I took some unecessary support out of it and put it back in the car. The VFN dash is tempting, but most of the local races require a stock dash.
