Rear sway bar removal?

remove the rear? I have never heard of this helping in any way. if anything many of us go to heavyer and stiffer rear swaybars. Taking the front bar off helps transfer weight to the back, take that front off yes, but not the rear.

Just thinking out loud, Stiffer in the rear is better I understand. Has anybody done a poor mans version of an air bag by putting wedges between the springs? Or maybe even compressing the springs? Compressing is stupid because nobody wants a long thread and bolt under there car durring a hard (or any)launch. anyway, I know wedges are sold for trucks when hauling, just don't know if anybody has tried them on there car....

Airbag is a cheap mod that works pretty well I think. Before I upgraded my rear swaybar I had an airbag and with the Hals I was getting low 1.4's.
I wasn't leaving straight though and some of the runs were getting hairy.
