Default 500rwhp on a 275/60/15 MT DR?

My new setup is almost finished and im trying to get my drag tires lined up.

Ive gone through way to many sets of slicks/Radials at this point and now i think ive found the answer.

I did a 28'' Slick but it was rubbing the fender. I didnt want to roll the fenders.

So the DR wont expand and its still a 28'' Tire. But is the 9.2 Tread patch big enough?

The car is a Nitrous car too, probly wont be seeing spray this year though.

Also, its all stock suspended, nothing for suspension.

Think I can Hook?

If you can't hook it on those theres something wrong with your car. Guys have run 275 series drag radials much faster than you will with 500 rwhp, you should be fine.

You have zero suspension mods? Or it's stock-style?

When I had my stock Longblock and Botlons I hooked on a 255/16 but also had shitty brakes and couldnt keep the car from rolling.

I for sure need a 28'' Tire. Its nice to be able to drive to the track and back too.

with a stock 10 bolt and 4.10's i don't know why you wanna hook but yes i would expect high 1.50 to low 1.60 60' out of your car. and the tire will hold much more if you had suspension i know guys that have been low 8's on that size tire.

275/60/15 is the same size I'm running. Traction is never an issue, but I'm only making 395 at the rear wheels.
