regular shift. I do it as fast as I can, but I come all the way of the gas every gear change and make sure its in gear. I hate getting a good launch and wasting it on a run by missing a gear.

So back to powershifting. I shift at the rev limiter @6k rpm I don't think I could shift fast enough to keep the engine from bouncing off the limiter. Would you have to shift earlier?

I powershift when it matters, and come off the gas when it doesn't.
It does put more stress on parts, but if you leave the line at 6k like most of us just go ahead and powershift it.
