Default qa1 spring choice

i have an iron 408 in the front of my car. i have qa1 r front shocks and was told by thunder to run a 325 in the front....i was kinda thinking it was a little much ????

You probably could get away with a 300 lbs spring but the 325 will have more stored energy resulting in lifting the front end better. Plus the 325 are more street friendly.

how would you determine which is right for a particular car? for instance a full weight car that sees the track every couple months?

i went with madmans advice when i did my susension

i went with the 325s up front with the r shocks...im full wieght also and a 6 speed
i have no problems on the street and on the stip the wheels come up real nice

hmmm..... i guess i went *** backwards then. i thought that the 275s were the ones you wanted for drag racing.

275 are for drags racing if all you are doing is drag racing the car

if you plan on driving the car on the street at all...which most of us here do then go for the 300 if your an auto and the 325s if your a stick and if your adding wieght like an iron block definatly 325s
