Default A different drag wheel setup *pics*

Have yet see anyone try the American Racing "PRO Series" Trakstar wheels...they looked like something I like so I picked up a set.

Here is the wheel after mounting my 28x10 tire:

They are 15x10x5" BS

A local car under construction already has a narrowed rear, so I wanted to see how much I could get away with. So we mounted my new drag wheels on his car.

Measurements have been made and my new rear has been ordered. Narrowed 9" with a backbrace, aluminum center section and spool

Only difference will be is I have a slightly softer rear spring so the car will sit about ~1/2" lower in the rear

looks pretty good really, how much did you end up narrowing the 9", and what was the cost of the wheels?

they are about the same price as weld alumastars (same category wheel...high-end dragrace) about 345/ea.

That rear was narrowed 3 3/4" per side...I'm going with the same.

they aren't going on that car . They are going on a pewter car and since the centers are anodized that titanium color, should look even better

wont need a fender roll since the wheels are tucked in about 3/4-1" inside the quarter panel. I have minitubbed the car to let me tuck them in that far and have a set of offset LCAs.
