Harlen used to make them. I think synergy has one now. I looked but couldn't find it on their sight.

How does the Harlan 2-step plug up exactly.. I'm pretty sure its rather simple, but I just wanna be sure. Mine has 4 connectors and I'm guessing that the coil packs plug into 2 of them and the other 2 go to the coil pack harness for the computer. But I also have a wire all by itself that has a butt connector on it and I have no idea what it goes to..

basically theres only 2 kinds of 2-steps right now. Theres the one that Harlan made, and theres one that Synergy makes. Harlan stopped making his, so you can only get them used and they usually go for around $100-$150. They are hard to find though (ive been looking for a used one for awhile, still cant find one) Harlan does have an updated version of his two step that hes working on but its not for sale yet.

The synergy 2-step is a nice product and can be at you doorstep in a few days after you order it. They run about $265 new. contact Rick, he can help you out. His screenname is Rick@Synergy and his number is 510-796-3749.

Of course always try the search but when I was needing the info the search system was down but thanks to Cablebandit who provided a link to Harlans instructions. Here is the post from this week.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-induction/590491-harlan-2-step-install-question.html

A 2 step will allow you to pick a certain RPM for launching the car while having your foot to the floor on the accelerator. It drops ignition to the coils to keep it at the RPM you designate. So if you want to leave the line at 4,000 you set it and arm the switch. Makes it much easier to leave the line at the right rpm and get a better reaction time.
The Harlan box is really cool, works great, and is a very easy install.

Ah, no master coil. So does it have to hook to every coil?

it kinda does.

all the coils on each bank come to one plug.. the two step plugs into the coilpack plugs, one on each side of the motor.
