Default Powerglide users........

What are you guys doing for a dust cover(converter cover)?I bought one from a local speed shop but it wont fit.I have a dedenbear case.

doesnt TCI make one that is SFI approved? CSR sould make one as well.

Unless a glide case if differnent then a Th400 case,you don't have to run that cover if you don't want to... if anything there's more air to get to the converter to keep it cool. When I put the th400 in my car a csr carbon shield went on along with a hughes sfi flexplate, so everything was all legal and whatnot... noone ever said a word about a cover for the bottom of the case.

cool.I just assumed I had to have a cover.Does anyone know if it is NHRA legal to not have a flywheel cover?

I know I've seen cars at teh track, mine included that have not had the cover and have had no problems. I don't think they are worried it the flexplate explodes and sends frag into the track, more concerned about it ripping your feet off.

my 6 second pro mod with a dedenbear glide doesnt have a cover...
I do not think you need one per the rules..IH or NH
