Default Strange or QA1 coilovers DRAG

Strange are a bit cheaper but I see more people run QA1. Reason why you pick which one.

I am curious also. I think that the reason we dont see more Strange is that they are newer.

I have the QA1 "R" series shocks with 275lb spring on the front of my car. It is QA1 part number RGK7275, which is their "1993-02 GM F-Body QA1 Generation F Coil-Over Kit - Drag Racing" The Kit Includes:

(2) Front Coil-Over Shocks
Generation F "R" Series Drag Racing Shocks (Part #RC7855P)

(2) Specially Designed F-Body Springs
275lb. Drag Racing Springs (Part #15FB275)
Comes With All Mounting Hardware

I chose QA1 because a lot more people that I know use them with great success. Strange makes good products too, but I prefer QA1 when it comes to my personal car.

The springs aren't necessary to run the shocks. You could run either their "F" or "R" series shocks and the BMR spring cups (Part # SA001). That allows you to use your stock or any aftermarket springs.

I use the Strange dbl adj on all 4's. They were recommended over the QA1's by Speed inc for the TT setup.

I've had QA1s for about 6 years. They have been rebuilt and work well. If I was to do it again, I would go AFCO.

Is the double adjustable option necessary or will the singles be fine?

I have the single adjustable QA1's and I would say that they are working well for me.

I would always recommend them.

And thats not only because my car is pictured in their new catalog. LOL
