Default Burkhart 10 PT Cage is done

I have to say I am very pleased at the way it turned out. Chuck and Dave did a great job of getting it in and fitting nice. It is not that far from a 25.5 spec cage. I would have to add a few floor bars and a bar or 2 here and there to get the 25.5 cert. It did cert to 8.50. I will need a bit more engine to test that limit

Thanks to Chuck and Dave for a great looking cage.

Check back for progress pics of the interior comming together.

I got to see this in person and must say I am very impressed. The welds look amazing...alot of attention given to detail...especially on the sheetmetal work in the rear.

A pic of me...hard at work.

Yeah, Nick was the official supervisor while I tapped off for paint. He did help out though.

The NHRA guy was down there and certified about 5 cars. Mine was one of them. Ask Chuck or Dave and they can probably get them out to cert yours.

That is one of the services we offer..If you want your car certified before it leaves the shop we can normally get it done..It really all depends on the NHRA Tech guy..If he has time or is in the area..

It's worth the wait. Call chuck or dave and get a deposit down on the next open spot.
