I've been trying but no luck yet. I use 28" slicks.

If you had the 4l60 tranny I'll bet you'd get a sub 1.4. That low first gear is awesome off the line.

My best sixty when I had the 700R4/4L60 with 4.10's was 1.40 (photo below)... there is a limit to how much abuse the GM A4 can take...

ok, so maybe you got the suspension dialed in, but have you played with the tune at that launch point?

2-step is at 3400 and the stall is 5500 on the brake. No special tuning at all.

No I have not. I have no track tuning at all.
I'm getting a new cam soon to replace the nitrous grind that's in it and then I'm going to ask Julio from Cartek to help me with some track tuning.
I really want to run 9's on this motor I just think I'm missing a couple of pieces of the puzzle. My 60' is one of those peices and a 1.29 is looking REAL good to me.
Last time out the track was cold and slick and I cut a 1.41. On a good day maybe I'll be able to get in the high 1.3's MAYBE but that's nowhere near a 1.29. I've got work to do for sure.

RWHP was 489 on the 1.29 60'.
With the 503rwhp it went 108 in the 1/8th in +2500DA.

We've gone 1.29s on a 29.5" tire NA with a 3400ish race weight. That's with a 4L60E and 3.90 gears.

Iron Block 408
4000ish stall
11.6:1 pump gas compression

That explains alot. I'm a bit heavier and only at 11:8:1 cr. I also made 30+ less rwhp but I'm getting a bigger cam soon. Good stuff man!
