03 Z06 Bone stock 12.09@115.9
My brother(butcher1)(while still limping from the accident in which is
02 Z06 was totaled)pulled a 12.09@115.9(1.84?)with his 03 Z06.
This was with a 10-15 MPH headwind.
The car has 200 something miles on it!
This car is COMPLETELY stock,as delivered from the factory!
I'm impressed, and wanted to publically congratulate him.
I'll still whip his ***

Thats a damn good E.T.
I was reading his post in the corvette forum under speed incs. thread...
Now I know why he got a new Z06, how did he wreck the other one?

That's amazing. Kudos to GM for producing a vehicle that'll run low 12's (high 11's in some instances) right off the showroom floor. I drove an '03 Z06 a week or two ago. I couldn't stop talking about it for days nor could I wipe off the perma-grin I had.
Congrats!
Congrats!

Re: 03 Z06 Bone stock 12.09@115.9
The 60' time was 1.84. I was able to pull several 1.77-1.79 60' times with my '02. The thing that kills me
about this pass was that the tires spun a lot on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. If the track would have been in
better shape , I could have run a low .90 or maybe even an .89. This car isn't even broken-in yet , I'm
sure it will run a little better once I put some miles on it. When I left the track last night I had 361 miles
on the odometer. The funny thing is that this car felt like a total pooch when I picked it up.
By the way , Ranger's car is not stock. He has a Halltech bottom-breather intake and 315 drag radials.
Not to mention cool , dry New England or Texas air. (I can't remember where he's from)
