"Speed Shops" in NY/NJ/CT Are there any "Speed Shops" still around in the NY/NJ/CT area?
I guess online companies like Summit, Jegs, Thunder Racing, etc have pretty much made them extinct.
Many years ago, there was a place call "Flips Speed Shop" in the Bronx.. too bad they now seem to have vanished.

theres a few here in MA but the availbilty of ls1 stuff is nill comapred to online like thunder or other sponsors that now can do drop shipments directly from the manufacter.

i know not in your range, but there is Indy Auto Parts in Peabody, MA. i always thought their prices are high, (as i'm sure are any retail store)... so unless you need something in an emergency, ordering online from someone like speed, inc. is your best bet.

There'sa place in manchester CT, national speed... they do alot of sold car stuff, mostly order from catalogs, and have a bunch of bolt on stuff in there for trucks, etc. etc. if that's the kind of thing you are looking for. I think if you walked in and asked for ls1 parts, they would propbably say ls what? What year did that motor come in? Or something to the like.
