Default Anyone using the 295/45/17 MT's?

Thinking about trying a set for my 17" rims, the dimensions look good. Just wondering if anyone has a set and how wide they really are....

No, I got the M&H's now. They are really narrow though. They may work very well, but I like my car to look good too, and these tires are just too small for me.

Spooky, post pics dammit!

i had a set of these and they were too tall to look right on the car for my taste. never tried a 60', probably hook as good as the 315 w/ less sidewall

I want to see the width. These look so much like the M&H's I wonder how much difference there could be.

I use them on 9.5 wheel and they even look better than the 275x17 drag radials and on my car they hook like a bear! But I like the look of filling wheelwell. They ties measure out at 27.4 tall on my Vette.

M&H tire sizes are ALL screwed up, be careful. A BFG and M/T 325/50 are identical in size, a M&H is not it is taller and narrower.

Yeah, the M&H tires make no sense as far as sizing. Its like they threw numbers in a hat and went that route.

They look like they're bulging a bit on the white Camaro above, I bet they'd fit nice on a 17x11. I know they are probably a bit WIDER than a 315/35/17 Nitto, and those always fit nice on a 17x11. They show rim widths to be 9.5" minimum and 11" max.

That may be something worth looking into. They would bump my 4th gear up by 9mph and potentially save me from having to swap to a smaller gear.

PS - I just noticed Summit shows them on backorder too.
