Default What will it run??

I'm new to the LSx world so I dont entirely know what to expect. Heres my combo, shoot me some guesses.

88 Monte Carlo SS, just under 3500lbs with driver
'05 LQ4, stock longblock with
-LS6 springs
-hardened pushrods
-Comp Cams 216/226 .527/.536 110+4
Edelbrock Victor Junior Intake
Holley 650 Double Pumper
1 3/4" long tubes, 3" collector, 2.5" xpipe
Yank SS4000, built 2004r, 4.10
26" Hoosier QTP

The cam is small but I couldnt pass it up. I dont have money in the budget right now for a expensive cam/spring swap so this will do for now.

I'm guessing 12.30s-12.50s?

Next winter, if funds allow, will get me some 243 heads and hopefully a cam along the lines of an F13.

Shoot some numbers.

Thanks guys
Nick

Why so slow? I've read that full bolt on A4s running 12.50s no problem with less cubes and no cam. I know I'm down half a point on compression.

I would say low 12's high 11's w/ a good burnout. My 02 SS w/ few boltons runs 12.60's and they weigh about the same but with the yank SS 4000 you should cut a lot better 60ft time than me (1.91 60ft) which should get you in the low 12's high 11's even w/ the sucky track newengland dragway is.

I dont really see my car weighing anymore then a full weight Fbody. A stock LQ4 with boltons and an M6 can put down over 340rwhp so with my baby cam I figure 360-365rwhp.

The LQ4 that put down 340 stock was dyno'd in a Fbody. It dyno'd 390 at the wheels with nothing but an F13 with the same bolt ons.

I did weigh my car, it was 3450 with me with an iron headed small block. I have since reinstalled the heater box (15lbs I'd guess) and will be running lighter aluminum heads.

I seriously doubt your Monte weighs that unless it has some serious weight reduction.

Guys, stock gross weight on one is right around 3450. Aluminum radiator, no emissions, no cat, drops a few pounds. With the drop of some pounds via the aluminum accessory drive, water pump and heads on the LQ4 I see it weighing in at 3500lbs, give or take.

Anyways, from what I've seen, stock Fbodys weigh with drivers up around 3600-3800lbs, so like I said, I'm not any heavier then those guys.

And I've weighed it before, alot has/will change. Can't just run to the scales either right now.

So say I match the weight of an fbody, what are some ET estimates.
