Jersey racers... or sea level duders
What type of cam only times are we running around sea level?
I am hoping to achieve 120mph traps in a 10bolt 6 speed car with a cam+bolt on car.
Pacesetter 1 3/4 LTs
Pacesetter Y no cat
Loudmouth II
LS6 Intake
Ported Stock Throttle Body
UD Pully
Dynotune
Cam of choice
Anyone doing this around here? Without using the Vindicator, T-Rex, or MS4? Cams that will allow a 6500 rpm shift point?

EDIT: I thought more spin = higher trap? And whp is a measure of trap speed?

no, i mean im trapping 114-115 with a bolt on car...i know its not what you asked, but i was giving an example, i would think similar mods with a cam would get at least 118-120mph

i went 118.8 mph at englishtown the other day with stock intake/throttle body and no Ud pulley. I went low 11.50's but know that i have some weight reduction and it was like -1000 DA out however there was no tail wind at all. I could have probably trapped around 122 Mph with a full intake and ud pulley, and If i went nuts with stuff like electric water pump and serious suspension probably 123-124 mph. But only in that nice weather, on the avg hot summer day id be happy with 120mph.
