Default heads/cam results

put the car on the dyno today and was very please to say the least.I'll get the graph up soon.It made 478hp and 425tq.(60 deg temp.)
Mods are-
-12bolt 411 gears with 17x11 ZR1's 315 BFG drags(30 psi)
-spec stage 3 clutch
-xs 1 3/4 headers and y pipe,hooker cat back
-Vegence ported 92mm and NW 92 mm
-42lb green tops
-comp cams 236/242-601/610 on a 113
-TEA stage 2 LS6 heads
-stock short block 39k miles 2001 M6 T.A

I have a set of Kooks 1 7/8 to put on,but wanted to see what the heads gave me being that the heads, injectors and tune was the only change.
the car made 428hp and 375tq without the heads so do the math 50hp 50tq.
I want to thank my bud Kyle,Greg at ANTI VENOM for the awsome tune and Tracy at Rev Xtreme for the dyno pulls

Damn dude, you made some awesome power! Got me thinking maybe I should swap out my cam for one like you have. 428 through a 12-bolt is awesome!

Nice #'s through that drivetrain. That'd almost be a 500rw car with a 10 bolt.

Wow, those are very impressive numbers through that heavy drivetrain and gears. How much do those TEA heads go for and who speced the cam?

I got the cam from a friend he had ground for a customer then changed his mind. The heads I bought used on here for a great price. For the combo I have I got off fairly cheap. The Kooks will go on next month,I have to save for the m y-pipe.And thanks for the comments guys. Jim.

I'm really curious about the headers myself.Friends are saying I'll gain some horse power up top but may lose some tq.But should really shine when I spray it.The short block is a 346 that came with the car.SLP lid and stock maf.

I bet you won't really lose any torque with the headers.

When are you taking it to the strip? Should put up a big number!

To me it's all about a 6 speed. I love that the better you drive, the faster you go. There's a lot more improvement to be had in more areas with your driving than with an auto in a street car and I like seeing results the more I practice.

Nice , lets see that graph .

What's the cc of your head's and what headgasket's are you using ? Anything done to the piston's ?

For the money at the time , [there competitively priced now with other header's ] the xs are one of the best bang for the buck header's . I bought mine when they first where being marketed and to my door for $330.00 . That's 1.75'' longtube stainless steel header's . I see they now have HVMC's . Mine have served me well .345rwhp with so so bolt ons through a 9'' , well see how they perform with my new bumpstick soon .

Once again , killer output , hope to see a graph . Doesn't look like you post much so I'll cross my fingers it appear's .

I believe 62cc.stock head gaskets and I had to flycut. The headers were the best bang fot the buck being stainless, but I had to modify the y-pipe for fitment.
