Default Very low dyno numbers for MS3 m6

I had my car tuned and dynoed yesterday and it only made 375 rwhp and 368 tq on a dynojet

mods are 2001 z28
stock ls6 intake, ported throttle body, ported mass air
MS3 cam, pacesetter headers, off road y pipe with bullet muffler dumped,
lid, the only bolt on i dont have is a pulley. I figured it would make around 390-410 it seems to run really strong

Just wondering if yall had any suggestions as to why it dynoed so low. I dont want to blame the tuner Because I belive he did a great job of course i wasnt there and my wife dropped it off but i dont really know why it was so low.

The real dyno is 1320 feet long, just run it and go from there before you complain.

I dont go to the track anymore but I totally agree, when i had the a4 in it before the m6 swap it went 11.18's with those mods and a ypt 4000, the only thing that sucks is that im in training for the military and i had my wife take it up there, but she said she smoked the tires pretty good and it scared her so maybe its fine.

Default that doesnt seem to bad

That doesnt seem to far off maybe 10 to 15 here and there and this could be tuners issues ! Take it to the track ! The ms3 is a awsome cam ! get you a set of stg2.5 heads from tsp and you will **** with the differance in the car!
But if i have learned one thing F#$ the dyno # if it drives good no bucking and i smooth ! Roll with it !

Everybody always bashes dyno numbers, but to me they're just as important as track numbers in indicating what's going on with the engine. My car's not setup for the track yet (need a 9") so the numbers would not be a good indicator of engine performance. What type of clutch did u install? Any chance it's slipping?

the clutch is a brand new spec 3 also noted my wife has been driving it since it was tuned and she said that it got 103 miles to a full tank of gas so something isnt right i imagine its running really rich

probly is. maybe the tuner has a safe tune in it? that milage from in town? I have a MS3 on mine and in town milage blows. I also have what I feel is low numbers and crappy track times compared to what I was doing stock. But my compresion isnt near where it sould have been, so my missing power may be there.

Dyno numbers are important, but not that much to me. Nobody is immune to low reading dyno or happy reading one. For me, I run it on the streets and see what happens when I punch it or run it against other cars..

i would think you would have made more but damn! an 11.18 with those mods is moving . Also 103 miles to the tank seems low, even with the cam.

Unfortunately you'll see that from time to time.

1. Not all cars are created equal. I'll bet I've had 4 times as many MS cams make 395-405 than I have them make 420+. Some cars are stronger than others.. dyno weather makes a difference even though the results are corrected

2. There may be an important piece to your setup missing. I had a disappointing magic stick car recently.. The guy had all really good parts 100mm MAF, fast 92 etc.. but he had a muffler shop flow master welded into the factory catback.. you know the type where the muffler was too small for factory pipes so the muffler shop expanded the inlet/outlet to get it to work.. Yeah, I'll bet it would pick up a solid 20+ rwhp with a good catback or even more with duals.

That moroso spiral flow sucks! Had one customer with a cutout ahead of his and when we opened it, he picked up about 20 rwhp... surprised me, cause I thought those were supposed to flow pretty well... guess not. Might be because those mufflers were really designed to have two per system - not one...
