Default New setup-Forged 347, PRC 5.3s,take a look

This is my new setup. Old setup using a 226/232 made 443rwhp and 397rwtq.

Old setup, stock shortblock, PRC 5.3 stage 2.5s,Cometic .045 gaskets, 226/232 .609/.604 113+2, ARH 1 3/4 longtubes, 3" Y(no cats), 4" over-the-axle into Magnaflow 4" inlet/dual 3" outlet muffler, Ported FAST 92/NW 92 TB, Fast toys lid, K&N filter, smooth bellows, 85mm MAF, Powerbond UD pulley, SVO 30 injectors, LS7 lifters, stock 10 bolt, stock aluminum ds.

New setup: (same as old with these changes) 347 Shortblock(stock crank, manley forged rods, wiseco forged pistons), PRC 5.3 stage 2.5s milled to 58cc chambers,Cometic .040 gaskets 235/240 .620/.609 112+4, Caddy race lifters, Midwest Fabbed 9" with 4.10 gears, Strange Chromoly ds, removed a.i.r. system.

New numbers are 468RWHP and 434 RWTQ!

Aside from the higher numbers and awesome torque, the car runs much better and is actually easier to drive with this setup. Ill see if I can get my tuner to post the graph, torque curve was impressive.

Nitrous will be added soon, Nitro daves plate and stand alone spraying a 200 shot.

That's really good considering the drivetrain additions as well! That cam is probably pretty similar to the Tsunami.

Its similar, same duration, same XER exhaust lobe and same exhaust lift, but they use a special "Texas Speed" intake lobe where my cam has an LSL lobe with a little bit less lift. They also use a 111 lsa where as mine uses a 112+4 for a 108 intake.Puts my redline a bit lower but the torque is amazing and the car is simple to drive with gobs of power and I personally like a rough idle, and this one is perfect for my taste.

Ryne@CMS suggested the cam and it turned out awesome, also stayed at his shop with me until just after 1am thursday night finishing the tune.

Nice. Did you spray it when you had a stock short block? Numbers on that? Get some numbers with that 200 shot. Congrats on the new setup.

No, I wanted to keep the old block in good shape and keep it usable so I never sprayed it. I still have the factory shortblock complete im just saving it for a future setup on another car I plan on buying in a little while.

Ill have some motor times on monday but wont have time to set up the n20 before then, then ill be adding a 6pt roll bar and installing the n20 and ill post time when I get em.Thanks alot!

Sounds pretty impressive, can you post up a graph? So what is your final compression ratio, what was is it before? 58cc chambers with a .040" gaskets, what size valve reliefs do the pistons have?

It was either 58 or 59cc, pistons have 3.2cc releifs, the final compression was a little below 11.5:1...the nitrous should hit hard.

Awesome man. I think I might spray my stock short block. I plan on going more cubes down the road. Anyways it sounds like a solid setup. Congrats.

The cam most likely isn't your problem.

I agree, Fifedogg is also a member in the western section, he has a 402 with stage 1 ls6 heads and an MS3 and made 501 rwhp and 47x rwtq IIRC.
