Default 416 - unported L92 heads - Performance Induction intake

I'm a happy camper today. This will be going in my 72 Vega that should tip the scales at 2620lbs with driver. Should be fun!

This was at the crank.

416 CDI
L92 heads milled with aftermarket springs.(no port work)
Cam is 24x 25x @50 and 625 625.
Performance Induction Specialties L92 intake with a 4500 flange and 4500 Accufab TB
Running on a FAST XFI system
Custom 1 3/4 headers that will not go past dumping at the collectors.

Thx to Carry, Billy, Rich, and Jim!

Sweet....

Good numbers man, I'm a little suprised it didn't make peak power higher.

I thought it was going to peak a little higher too but I also was hoping for 600hp as the high end of my guess so I am definitely happy to make that power and not have to rev the **** out of it. I was shooting for a 9.99 in the 1/4 at 2650lbs. This is going through a new Coan 8 inch converter and PG trans.

Great looking torque curve. Should hit your ET goals with time to spare.

l92 heads have heavy valves and not the greatest for high revving motors

What?! $2k+....shoot, I thought I was gonna buy one, but I don't think so now. I was hoping to spend like $900 for an as-cast one.
Either way, nice numbers. Good luck with the rest of the project.

I agree on the 1.75 but with the limited room the fab guy said that is what I should go with. I just dump it at the collectors past the front tires so it probably flows ok.

TB seems pretty good so far. I haven't really got past 1/2 throttle yet but plan to run it at Milan on Wed to get it dialed in.

Nice numbers!

How much power will that intake & TB make over a LS3/L76 intake with a 90mm TB?
