LS7 Heads/Cam Dyno final results: 619whp/532wtq !!!!
Ahhhhhh.......finally done.. I started a thread a couple of weeks ago about my preliminary results of 587whp/508wtq. We couldn't get an accurate tq reading on the last dyno, and the 508wtq was measured at 4200rpms. I got a few things sorted out with the car. Vaccum leak, and changed the plugs out from TR55's gapped at .050" to TR6"s gapped at .035". The compression is 12:1.
The car is an absolute animal. I almost lost it on the way home from the dyno on the 2-3 shift. The car makes between 607whp-621whp SAE depending on what smoothing/rpm/mph scale you are using, yet the tq is 532-533wtq. STD numbers are between 620whp-631whp and 543-544wtq. The car is very sensitive to timing due to the compression so we left it very conservative. The car's power does not fall off. I love this forum for sharing everyone's build so I can try different things and stick with the stuff that works. I couldn't be more pleased.
I can't thank the Jeremy's enough on this build. Jeremy Formato for helping me plan literally every stage and take so many phone calls I lost count. Also Jeremy Preston from Horsepower Sales in Pompano beach for putting together my monster and working with me on how particular I can be about what's happening with the car etc. Otherwise, after careful selection this is a build that can be duplicated by anyone with standard parts ordered from vendors here on our forum. It's all in the combination!!!
Just to recap the build:

Congrats Doug! That's one of the highest dyno numbers I've seen on a n/a Z06. It must be awesome to drive. So will you be taking it to the track? I'd love to see what that car will trap.
